WELD QUALIFICATIONS
Accurate Metals Testing can assist welders and companies hiring welders achieve a certification. We can also provide the testing necessary to qualify a full welding prodcedure, using techniques established by the American Welding Society (AWS), American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME), and American Petroleum Institute (API).
AMT specializes in Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) and Welding Performance Qualifications (WPQ) which might include:
Stress Relief, Charpy V Notch, Macro Etch and weld metal tensile/hardness testing.

We offer a full machine shop where welding plates can be sectioned and machined in house, minimizing turnaround times and cost.

Our testing adheres to most common Weld specifications, AWS, ASME, and API to name a few.
